Vietnamese Adoptee now Vice Chancellor for Germany
Philipp Rösler, born 24 February 1973 in Khánh Hưng, South Vietnam, today part of Sóc Trăng province, is a German politician, who, since 2011, has been the Federal Minister of Economics and Technology and the Vice Chancellor of Germany.

Alice Cecilia Linh Svensson, is a Swedish singer and Idol 2008 1st runner up. Svensson was was adopted from Vietnam and moved to Sweden with her family when she was 10 months old.
